We invite you all backstage and introduce the people behind our microplate readers. Today: If you ever wondered who built your Omega reader, then get to know Syamand from our production team. He could be your tour guide in our HQ facility.
My name is Syamand S. Ismail, I was born and grew up in Aleppo, Syria. There, I studied electronic engineering, before working in the MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) department of a construction company. I joined the Production Department of BMG LABTECH´s headquarters in 2016. Here, I am involved in the production of the Omega series.
What is a typical day like?
I start my day with a cup of coffee, then enjoy the view of the Ortenberg Castle and my work
What do you like most about your job?
The fact that quality is more important than quantity
What do you like most about BMG LABTECH?
I like the friendly atmosphere among all employees
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
I like to lie down and watch a movie (Thanks Kurnosch)
What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?
I am lazy ……. of course only at home.
